AVAST false positives are out of control

I am getting over 170 Win32: Malware-gen false positives. Mostly on url links that have been on my computer for up to 15 years. Tonight I got two on System Volume Information restore files. The number, paths and names to these files are too many, long etc to try and fill out a report on each one. Plus Avast doesn’t allow copy and paste from their threat report page. I have sent several examples in with no action taken by Avast. If this keeps up, it will be time to find a new anti-virus program as this one cannot be trusted as it presently exists. Having to look through over 170 false positive to be sure there isn’t something that is a real threat is getting to be too big a headache.

Hello,
send us the detected file(s) using https://support.avast.com/ → Avast Virus Lab
if they are big, pack then to zip archive and upload to our ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/ and send the uploaded filename using https://support.avast.com/ → Avast Virus Lab

Thanks,
Milos
