AVAST FILE SHIELD DETECTING EBAY LOGIN PAGE SCRIPT-INI html

Avast now detecting Ebay login page as script-ini html on this new def update. I AM MONITORING! Maybe false detection as ebay login is in green secure login page.

virus and false positive problems should be posted in viruses and worms forum section

I reported FP, but I can still login (-:

It seems this is only detected in IE but not when using firefox, I can login without issue, the same as another user reporting this. http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=126994.0

Given that this is on ebay, if it is an FP it will most likely be resolved quickly, so ensure you have the virus definitions fully up to date.

The detection was on my test rig computer which has the problem. The main one i use is ok. Suspect the test rig computer hard drive has some kind of rootkit infection, just on basic install of xp sp3 and fully patched cross checking it today no inportant files on it. Will be rubbing out the hard drive and do fresh image of xp

Test rig computer proved clean. ADWCLEANER RUN NO MALWARE. AVG RUN NO MALWARE. ADAWARE RUN NO MALWARE. KASPERKY ONLINE SCANNER RUN NO MALWARE. Could be false detection as reported. Avast 8 back on the test rig and is fine!
