Try a repair first. Act as though you are going to uninstall Avast! through Windows, but choose the "repair option from the menu when it appears, then follow the steps presented.
btw, your email is showing public, you can hide it in your profile setting to avoid spam harvesting.
It seems like I have a problem. I set that to no show email. It now will not recognize my password and allow me to change it to no show. I deleted Trojan.FakeMS with Mbam after I removed Avast. Computer is now running much faster. What did Trojan.FakeMS do?
OK I got in. I need to write down all these passwords. Too many to remember. Unfortunately, I tend to forget where I write them.
Update MBAM definitions and rescan your machine. Some posts on MBAM forum say that it can’t delete this malware.
I update Mbam before every scan. I rescanned and Mbam said clean. Is Trojan.FakeMS a key logger?
