Hello! I have just upgraded my phone from a BlackBerry to a Samsung Galaxy S3 and use Avast on the new phone. I do a lot of online banking for work and on the first day of having installed Avast, the security codes my bank sends me by text message would not arrive. At first I thought it was an internal problem with my bank but they confirmed they were sending messages out. I also no longer receive text messages from my post office to notify me about packages. Both the bank and the post office use numbers that could easily look like spam. Could anybody please tell me how Avast should be set up for me to receive all text messages?? I have turned off the message shield but that does not seem to make any difference.
Please help! :o
Not sure if these would cover your question, but worth a look.

Thank you! I’ll have a look through these tomorrow.
You’re welcome.
Hi,
I don’t think it’s our fault if you have message shield disabled and you don’t have any groups set up in SMS/Call filter. If you want, you can try just uninstalling AMS and see if the problem goes away. If so, we can try to dive into it.
