AVAST Finding Trojan TratBHO

Avast keeps finding the trojan TratBHO and telling me it’s either deleting the file or moving it to the chest… but it certainly isn’t fixing the problem… I tried running a boot scan on restart… That didn’t work… Soooo… Basically Avast doesn’t fix that particular virus?

It detects it… but doesn’t fix it?

I’m not quite clear on why avast isn’t taking care of this if it can detect it… If this is a false positive… I need to get a new anti-virus because these repeated pop-ups telling me I have infected files in some obscure temp folder are getting REALLY annoying.

Hopefully someone can enlighten me because Avast is really getting annoying with the incessant warnings about a virus it obviously isn’t fixing…

I don’t think it’s a false positive, given the rash of infected computer, not only on the forum, but others. Lots of different avs also. Norton,mcafee, kav,avg. They seem to be able to find the actual BHO infecter, just not the bugs placing them there. Wonder on down to the virus and worm forum and you will see.
