AVAST Firewall 2015 blocking access to a network printer

I’ve just reinstalled my OS. I’ve put Avast 2015 back onto the machine, but I now can’t print. If I turn off the firewall, then it works just fine. The network (192.168.1.0) is on the friends list, and it’s on a private network.

I’ve got the same problem. Did you ever figure it out?

Open Avast and go to Tools > Firewall > Settings
Place a tick in the two highlighted boxes

please, can you specify what OS do you have and type of your printer? Did these troubles with firewall became with Avast 2015?
