avast firewall deny mode

Just start to use avast and it is brilliant.
The mode I am using is the “Deny selected” as “allow selected” will cause problem due to some applications not in the list.
But I want any application further on installed on my android by default -denied-
i.e. if I accidentally installed a malicious application, it won’t have any chance to connect to the internet.

How does “block all apps” works? If it is selected, will it block all the apps whatever the setup for each individual application?

It will be convenient to add button to “invert the selection” and “select all” “select none”.
It is a pain when I go from “allow selected” mode to “deny selected” mode, which requires me to go through the list again.

+1000, asked before from a lot of users

Hi,

exactly, block/allow all apps override the individual selections. I will try to push some of the suggested changes into the next version, but no promises!

thanks. default to block is really a feature I believe a lot other would like also to see.
It can show the permission other application requires. Is that possible to block the privacy information access?
This will make the avast a killing app.

I have seen some apps that claim to be able to do it, but they need rooted devices so not THAT interesting unfortunately (for me, might be interesting for you  ).

Thanks for listening us Filip

Sure, no problem, I always try to do so

After tried avast for a while, I found that there were quite some features require rooted device including the firewall.
Actually it is until I tried avast privacy, I noticed how “open” android really is.

Just tried LBE privacy protector. Seems very useful.
