Hello in Avast Free does your firewall protect PCs from any external network attacks?
Or does it also protect against connection-attempting and port-scan malware?
Sorry but I’m curious to understand in detail what the features are and what the Avast firewall does in the free version more than that of Windows 10/11.
Thank you for the link.
So, reading this article, is the Windows 10/11 firewall sufficient for normal/personal use of a PC? So what more features does Avast Free add? Or does the Avast Free Firewall have the same functionality as that of Windows 10/11 and only change the graphics for managing applications?

In my opinion, yes. Many AV vendors also think so as they have dropped there own firewall and just add a network scanner that monitor the traffic in windows firewall. Avira/Trend Micro/F-secure/Webroot have done this
