there was 3 firewall questions from avast, 2 saying 'rundll32.exe is trying to connect inside your own pc' and 1 saying 'rundll32.exe is trying to listen for connections from your own pc'.
Hi, just my opinion It seems there was a program needing access to a dll file.Seems normal to me.
Based on what you wrote it was internal communication, nothing going to the internet.
I googled what rundll32 was and I dont understand why it needs to allow it if its so important so wondered if its malware or something.
I don't use the avast firewall but it's probably meant to work this way. :) Firewalls such as comodo have a whitelist of "trusted" processes so you would likely never receive a popup from it.
