Avast! firewall won't let me browse the internet.

I have Avast! 9 Internet Security on my PC. From today, I ccouldn’t browse with my Avast! firewall and/or Windows Firewall on. But I can browse after switching them both off. I can only p2p with them on. I don’t wanna risk my computer’s security. So please help!!!

You may wish to be aware that doing the P2P will put your machine at risk of infections even if your antivirus program is turned on .

Do you mean you have turned off both the Avast and the Windows firewalls?

Are your Avast virus definitions fully up to date ?
