Avast firewall...

Hi, I have noticed the last few days that when I go into my firewall that it says “we strongly recommend rebooting your system first. Some firewall features may only start working after a reboot.” I have restarted quite a few times, did a repair of avast and even uninstalled and reinstalled… This message is still there. I am thinking that’s not normal but would love some insight and help if required! Or maybe where I should be asking this if here is not the right area of the forum. Thanks
