Avast folder size?

Hi,

Ive been a long time user of Avast and just found out after my C drive was running out of space that Avast folder in C:\Program Files is taking 1 gb space, while another folder in C:\ProgramData is taking another 1 gb, after looking into them, there seems to be a mysterious blue setup folder that is 500mb big and in the program data folder there is a alot of .sav files with time stamps on it that is taking the space. 2 gb in total is a little excessive for an AV. My question is how to prevent avast from generating data that takes all this space?

About 1Gb in Program files is normal.
Don’t know how much is normal with the latest version for other locations as I am using a business edition.
But even if it is 2Gb it is not the cause that you are running out of space on the drive.

Still 2 gbs for a single application is too much, not to mention an AV so my question is still the same, where are all these files coming from?

For me its also about 2 GBs.

SafeZone Browser under programs takes 300 MBs.
