Hi, since we started testing Windows 10 Spring Creators Update 1803, we have been unable to install/uninstall/repair Microsoft Office Professional without first uninstalling Avast for Business (free).
Uninstalling Avast does allow us to install Microsoft Office Pro, but any subsequent MS Office repair or attempt to uninstall fails.
Just an update to this issue. We continue to really struggle with Office 2016 on computers with Windows 10 1803. In addition to failed installs, we have had issues with it breaking Outlook and have had to resort to uninstalling Avast from some systems to get Office to function.
I’m hoping that someone at Avast is looking into this, as it is a real concern and has prevented us from moving forward to upgrading our other systems to the latest version of Windows.

A new Avast client version was just released (18.4). Does it resolve your issue?
Thanks for your response. With version 18.4.2534 we are still experiencing issues with install/uninstall of MS Office as well as with installing some Office updates from Microsoft Update.
