avast for business?

I’ve read the commercial use faq and I’m still not sure as to whether what i want to do is considered commercial use.

I want to start a computer repair business and when the computer is repaired i want to help the user by installing preventative malware software. I like avast and think it’s the most user friendly program for computer illiterate users. If i install the avast 60 day demo mode trial on a home users computer after i have repaired it, would that be considered commercial use?

I wouldn’t give them a registration key, but i would give them information on how to obtain one (be it professional or the free home use key). am i allowed to do this?

Why not?
What your doing is no different then what any of us do when we help a friend
add avast! to their home computer.
The home or commercial use depends on the person who owns the computer and their usage.
It doesn’t depend on the status of the installer. IMHO

Yes, you can give him the information.
You’re not allowed to give him not your professional key neither your own home key (if you have one). In the last case, just ask him to register (for free).
