AVAST! for mac identifies Time Machine Backup Bands as javascript trojan

I use AVAST! mac. I recently set up a new remote Time Machine volume and started backing up to it.

This AM I noticed messages from AVAST! on my desktop that said it detected a trojan in the backup volume and put the backup’s “Bands” into the AVAST! isolation chest for safe keeping. (Time Machine backups are saved inside Mac Sparsebundles.)

I mounted the TimeMachine volume on the desktop and checked inside the backup folder. Sure enough! NO BANDS!

I subsequently restored both bands folder (two mac volumes on one disk) to the Mac backup volume and I’m presently running the Windows server’s virus scanner on the volume to double check AVAST!'s prognosis,

I have a hunch AVAST! misidentified the contents of the TimeMachine backup as a virus. If it turns out I’m wrong, I’ll post an update later today.

Hi,
when you click on the avast icon in a menu bar->Last Popup Messages, do you still have there the displayed notification? If so, could you please attach a screenshot of it?
