does avast! for smartphones use a realtime message scan like other products?
I installed the demo, but did not find such an option
Maybe in the future?

Hello Christian, avast! for Smartphone edition does not use a real-time scanner - it has only on-demand scanner. Currently, there are no plans to support this feature in near future.
