Hi everybody,

along with the updated release of avast 8 (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=122948.0) we are also releasing the avast for WHS edition.

This edition integrates with the WHS 2011 infrastructure by providing a dashboard plugin and simple monitoring capabilities of all avast installations on your home computers.

You can download the server setup package from:

http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_whs_setup.exe.

For all clients joined to the WHS group, the WHS connector is installed automatically with any edition.

hi, I was waiting for a long time for an antivirus solution for my network.

but there is a couple of issue.

So avast v8 is installed on my four computers
avast whs 2011 is installed on my server .
all installed with typical installation (with whs components)

but on whs2011 dashboard under avast page there is no trace of my four client computers.

when I try to buy a license for avast whs2011, the market page tells me that I need an internet connection, and of course I have one …

did I miss something?

Same exact issues here! Salora I also posted in the WHS 2011 ver 8 area.

I gave the trial version of Avast for WHS2011 a go and have come to the end of the trial period. Seeing the application cannot contact the marketplace (I am assuming this is because it hasn’t officially been released), I cannot renew the license, leaving my server in a less than ideal state. I was wondering if there was a way to renew or remove the trial period?
I didn’t really want to go back to GData for another year

Can someone give me an idea of how to remove this from my WHS?
