I have attempted to install Avast Free 2016 (on line) on my system. It begins with the normal “timer” type icon which displays around 5~10 seconds. Then, it just disappears … no error messages … or messages of any kind. Avast Free 2015 has been running flawlessly on the same system for over a year. Where is the “log file” stored that is supposed to aid in troubleshooting?
