Avast! Free 5.0.507 Webshield kills http traffic after ~0.7mb

Hi,

I have been using avast for several years without any problem, however since this morning avast seems to block http traffic after downloading roughly 0.7mb of data.

Webpages larger than 1mb and file downloads are interrupted.

When I turn off webshield, everything works fine.

Any idea?

Other software seems to be interfering… Firewall? Old antivirus installed/uninstalled? Other security program?

There might be some other software, however I have not installed any new nor uninstalled any old piece of software.

Though a couple of days ago Avast automatically updated to 5.0.545, and the problem is gone. Now it works as it used to.
