Hi sorry if this has been answered b4 I want to install avast free via a bat file but dont want chrome installed. i have tried a few different switches mentioned from threads i have found in google but none seem to work.
thought i would come right to the source and figured you guys would know the correct command line.
This will be fore Windows 7 64bit maybe 32bit but unlikely

In how many computers are you installing avast silently?
unsure at this point but will be enough to warrent installing it silently
avast! Free 6.0.1203: “avast_setup.exe /VERYSILENT” → avast! INSTALLED & Chrome INSTALLED
i try this one but chrome installs
vast_setup_free_or_pro_or_not /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /SP-
can not remember if i try this one
the last suggestion script to kill google chrome seems bulky. I will be instaling from a standalone file would like to avoid that.
any other suggestions would be welcomed. thankyou again for you time.
