Avast Free 7 - longer booting in Win7 x64

Hello,
I saw that, when I install Avast Free 7 my Windows 7 x64 SP1 longer to start. When I login in my account I will wait longer in my desktop and moments later there are icons. What can I do it that my system will work properly?

Thanks.

What other security programs installed?

Nothing. I before had a Trend Micro Titanium, but my license expired and I uninstall this program as described by “How to uninstall my Trend Micro Titanium 2011 product using the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit”. And now installed Avast.

On malwarebytes website you find a little program called startup lite…
It may be worth trying…

Why this problem is in Avast? In TM Titanium did not have this problem and I have 8GB RAM and Intel Core i7.

Start up lite:

I had an almost identical problem. I have Windows 7 64 bit and after the upgrade and restart it would just spin after log in. I left it for an hour while out to lunch and no go. I had to go into safe mode and uninstall and now it’s booting fine. I’m trying a fresh reload, since I love Avast, and I’m hoping it does not happen again or I’ll be relegated to something else.

Wojtek0 can you try running the TM removal tool http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/ ( 35a in the list ) when completed reboot and see if fixed, if not then try a repair of avast via Program and features ( click avast as to uninstall then scroll to repair ) and reboot again.

Thaks for yoyr reply @craigb, but your suggestions do not help my system. Have you something?
