I have a Mac which uses MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7. I’ve used the free Avast anti-virus for quite a while, but on Monday it started preventing my incoming email from being able to be received on my Mac. I’m still able to send email and also can receive and send email if I use webmail. (I know that the problem is related to Avast because when I uninstalled it, I was again able to receive email on my Mac, and when I re-installed Avast I was no longer able to receive email on my Mac.) In case it’s helpful, my incoming email is using port 995. Many thanks!
