Hi,
I love your antivirus program very much, thanks avast team for making the no.1 free antivirus program.

But, I want to install avast free antivirus 2015 silently.
I have found out the following switch for silent install: /silent.
But after the silent install the Avast GUI is launched with startup scan and sounds ‘Welcome to Avast!’ :frowning:
I dont want the GUI to be launched. I have no problem if it is launched in tray, and updated in background.
Many similar topics give a link to a knowledgebase article regarding commandline parameters, but the link doesnt open :frowning:

Comand line is only for PRO versions

So that means I cannot disable post-install sounds & AvastUI Launch?

Not just that, if it’s a silent install how are you going to do a custom install? ???

If the OP wants to use AVG I do hope they realize they will be getting “less” protection.

A “silent” installation is possible with a business/server version.
Pushing the installation to a (or they) client(s).
