Avast Free Antivirus does not recognize when VPN by Google is active on Windows. Instead, Avast very frequently prompts the active logged in user to add Avast VPN protection. Does anyone know of a way to configure Avast to silence these notices?
The paid version of Avast can silence these notices. Avast Free tries to scare you into a purchase. This is by design. It doesn’t understand my VPN either.
