AVAST FREE ANTIVIRUS and CLEAN-UP Subscription

Up until the issue of the new look AVAST all was working really well, but since the CLEAN-UP programme does not work. All it seems to do is cause more issue than it resolves. It does not complete the 3 steps shown, rarely completing step 1. This usually results in 4% fragmented on the hard drive ( I know it was ok before). I’ve raise this issue with “support” and advised in the first response to “repair” the programme, then followed by “re-installing” then followed finally admitting there is a problem they are working on and would be fixed in the next release. Yesterday I received the latest update for the program and definitions and guess what…it still doesn’t work. The clean up just hangs. I can accept a free programme not working but I’ve paid for this add-on and it has not worked now for nearly 2 months. If I still didn’t have 6 months subscription left I would dump AVAST completely.

Anyone else having similar problems.
