Hi,
I have the Avast Free Antivirus program installed on my PC on Windows 7. When I click to open the program, this message pops up:
“This program is blocked by group policy. For more information, contact your system administrator.”
Kindly advise on how I can open and run the antivirus program like normal again. Thanks.

Make sure everything from any other av is completely removed.

Perform a clean installation of avast
See if the problem is solved.

Thanks for your reply. I installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and ran it, and looks like I can open Avast Free Antivirus again.
I also installed Farbar Recovery and aswMBR. Please find attached the logs (txt files) to see if there’s anything else that I need to do.
