So I have Avast Free Antivirus (version 18.5.2342) running on Windows 10, although this problem I have is much older.
I have setup exclusions everywhere I could for the “Z:\Steam” folder but Avast keeps scanning it every time it does a background scan. Anyway I can fix it?

Thank you for your reply but as I stated I already done it. My problem is Avast still scanning the excluded folder (see the first screenshot).
