Avast Free Antivirus Places Adwcleaner Into Virus Chest.

I run Avast Free Antivirus 17.8.2318 (build 17.8.3705.249) on my Windows 10 FCU (64-bit) laptop which also had Malwarebytes AdwCleaner installed which previously ran without any problems.

However, since updating Malwarebytes AdwCleaner to version 7.0.5.0 today as soon as I try to run the program Avast immediately sends it to the virus vault also removing the program from my Downloads folder. I have updated both via the progam itself and a new download, both with the same ultimate result. I realise there is no installation of the program which is a straight run from the download.

However, a check on the download with both Malwarebytes Premium and Avast Free Antivirus show there to be no malware present at all.

Any help in enabling me to install AdwCleaner successfully would be greatly appreciated. >:(

What message does your avast give when detecting? post screenshot

Thank you for your reply.

In view of your comment I downloaded AdwCleaner from the URL in my post above in order to run it then send you a screenshot as requested but when I ran it this time it ran without any problems at all with Avast not sending it to the virus vault.

Problem now sorted but odd it didn`t behave like that initially.
