Avast Free Blocking One Website Only

Hi there,

In the last 10 days or so I have been unable to access to certain website, which just continuously loads until it times out. After some fiddling I realised that the problem only occurs when the Avast Webshield is enabled. If I disable it then the website loads perfectly and works without any problems. When I enable the Webshield again then the problem comes back and it won’t load.

Is this something common or easily solved? Am I being very dim and overlooking something glaringly obvious as to fixing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, there are some know issue with web shield! Can you try if the last beta version solve the problem? You can download it from here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=144768.0

And can you post the address so we try to see if the problem is reproducible in other sistem?

Thanks very much for the help. I tried downloading the latest beta version but it didn’t make any difference - still the same problem.

Apologies for not including the website first, it’s http://uk.marketforce.com but the real problem is when I go to login, and then it won’t load. When you login it redirects to http://secure.marketforce.com. So I think that’s the real problem website.
