I had a flash message from avast today lower right if that helps…
avast crashed. It had more to the message but I did not catch the rest.
Could you tell me what it may have said and how to go about repair if repair is actually needed…
I went to avast on my computer and updated it no problem.
Don’t know if it is working or not.
This is a new laptop so all the information from my previous post here do not apply.
So many laptops I have killed have been offline till this one came as a gift.
I had norton which I have uninstalled after the free time was up.
I have windows 7 and ie… google chrome. that is about all I know about it.

Just loaded the free better
version of avast and registered will that fix the problem. I had the pro on a previous computer after buying it online it took two months to get the download to actually work and has put me off trying it again… I did have an address for a computer store where I could take the computer and have them do it for me but my old computer died before I got around to it…
Sometimes computers are more trouble than they are worth.
It is now in trial mode the firewall is off guess not available in trial mode? Shield unreachable… so it says.

firewall is only in avast internet security… and it will work in trail mode
