From Home Page https://www.avast.com/en-us/index#pc
I click on “Download Free Protection”
It launches the download page https://www.avast.com/en-us/download-thank-you.php?product=FAV-ONLINE&locale=en-us&direct=1
with a completely blank white screen. Nothing on the page.
I have tried Chrome and Edge but same issue.
Using Windows 10.
Don’t have any other anti virus installed.
Windows Defender is running - I disables it but the download still won’t work.
Any ideas?

The link (2nd one in your post) is working for me using firefox, goes directly to launching my download (see attached image).
EDIT: that link goes to the on-line installer and that can be messed up by your connection firewall/antivirus.
Try using the download link for the off-line installation you are looking for in this topic.
