I cant get the free Avast to stay logged on. It is constantly turning off an I manually have to click the fix now button. Anyone know what the issue could be??
did you update to the latest version? (5.0.545)
you can also try re-installing avast. Download the latest version here http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
now its time to remove avast completely
- Download aswClear5.exe on your desktop http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear5.exe
- Start Windows in Safe Mode
- Open (execute) the uninstall utility
- If you installed avast! in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
- Click REMOVE
- Restart your computer
- Run the setup
