Avast free edition won't run scheduled scans

Hello All!

I’ve been using Avast for years, the Free Version, and it has run scheduled scans without issue. Until last week, when I noticed it is no longer running my scheduled scans.

I’ve run the repair Avast and have uninstalled and reinstalled Avast as well, and it still does not work…yes, I have it set to run when my computer is on…

I have it set to run Mon, Wed, and Fri at 400 am, which is when my computer is always on…

Any ideas?

If you’re running “real time protection” (Shields on) which means Avast is scanning and constantly monitoring your OS as it works, Why would you need so many “on demand” scans ???

Hello,

there is really a bug. Seems combination of daily scan + range 0-11AM is not working. Before we fix it, you can set 11PM instead of 4AM - if you want.
