Avast Free Expires On Offline PC - How Do I Activate??

Hi

Avast free has expired on 2 of my pcs that do not go online but i do use them for file management.

How do i activate this???

makes no sense when there are offline updates available but the antivirus becomes useless cos i need to take a machine onto the internet to activate it?

If its free then it should be free.

true, by my interface has gone all red saying i need to activate, and this is a very recent version. i dont recall exactly what it said, i can get a screenshot as soon as i get home, but it does ask for activation

i have a version that is just over a month old, hence the need for activation, i think its best if i post a screenshot of version number and the screen that is asking for activation.
