Avast Free Home Edition 4.8 doesn't connect with Microsoft Outlook 2007...

Just like in the the title Avast Free Home Edition 4.8 doesn’t connect ANYMORE with Microsoft Outlook(MO) 2007 ANYMORE… .It doesn’t start up the Outlook Exchange option when i start MO2007,so it doesn’t scan the in-and outgoing mails and doesn’t put a signature at infected or non-infected mails.Normally it worked great together and Avast started it’s Outlook/Exchange scan option when MO started…

I un-and reinstalled it but unfortunately it didn’t worked.

I really don’t know what to do to make it work.

Normally it worked and then from one day no more… .

I’m planning to download and install the 5… Beta Free Version,maybe that wil work but i wait because i don’t like ‘Beta’ versions.

Somebody recognizes this problem?

Make sure the avast plug-in/add-in is not disabled in MS Outlook:
Outlook 2007 > Tools > Trust center > Add-ins > Manage Disabled items.

Hey man,i looked and i didn’t see any Avast or Alwill Software add-in???How can i add an add-in from Avast to the add-ins?Here’s an image:

I don’t know I don’t use Outlook, it should be automatically created when avast detects you have Outlook installed. If it isn’t in the disabled items area (may be OK) check in the area where normal running add-ins are stored.

I tried everything but unfortunately nothing helped… .I leave it like that,and yeah,my Outlook mails don’t get scanned…

Avast isn’t in beta anymore, which means it’s final and mostly works okay, and it has minimal bugs on very few systems.

Anyways…:i just installed Avast 5 and damn man,IT SUCKS REALLY BIG TIME!!!Bah!!!First of all i really don’t like the yellow color interface… the second my laptop works on XP and it’s a older laptop and even with the installation it gave big problems… my laptop freezed very bad… and even when it was installed it worked bad so i immediately uninstalled it and very nice installed my good old Avast 4.8 Free Home Edition and my laptop works just great!!!

AVAST 5 SUCKS!!!SORRY ALWIL SOFTWARE!!!
