Using: Avast Free and ie 11
When I go to Netflix, it requests my profile. After I click my profile, it goes to the main Netflix screen, but shows only the banner. The remainder of the page is gray.
Everything works perfectly in Firefox. In ie, when I disable the Avast add-ons, it all works fine. This has happened within the last 3 weeks. Can’t remember the exact starting date of the problem.
Any thoughts?
There appears to be a conflict with IE10 and IE11 and the Avast Online Security (AOS) add-on and the IE Enhanced Protection Mode (or something like that). I don’t use IE so I’m not sure if that is the correct term, disabling that may allow the AOS to run.
Just checked. The checkbox for Enable Protected Mode is unchecked.
OK, if it was previously unchecked, then your only option is to disable the AOS add-on until this is finally resolved.
