How can I get rid of the popup that appears after latest update.
Tried everything (other than switching PC off) but the !!!*** is still there masking much more important info.
you mean the pop up that tell you it has just updated?
Assuming this is the avast auto update notification you are talking about. You can reduce the duration the pop-up is displayed or disable it completely.
From the GUI, Settings, Popups and lower the Update notification duration.
From the GUI, Settings, Updates, Details, Update Options and uncheck the ‘Show notification box after automatic update’ option.
