Avast Free is Blocking Receiving Email

Well Avast 22.9.6034 (build 22.9.7554.734) has very recently been released. So I would have expected that to have fixes bi the beta version to have been applied.

That’s good to hear, DavidR. I tried updating my wife‘s computer, which is running the beta, and it says No New Updates (it’s been updated twice).

I tried Googling Avast for updates, but the update page didn’t show, that I could find, what rev it is.

Is there a link to the rev you mention? And does it automatically overwrite the beta?

The only way to leave beta is to fully remove the beta (Using the removal tool)
and doing a clean install of the current release. You can not simply go back from a beta version.
One of the reasons I always emphasize that you should not install the beta without knowing what a beta version is.
