From your screen shot, it appears that you are in the Scan Now area of the GUI. What font is missing since I do not read your language?
From the symbols, everything appears the same. I use Avast Free and have the same OS as you.
This only happens in AVAST GUI? No other programs like IE or Firefox or Word?
Yes , it just shows error the wrong font on Avast, while other programs are normal. This error was only recently, as before I installed Avast on multiple machines without this error
What is the version of Avast you are using?
6.0.1091?
Do you have any Office 2007 or 2010 installed on that PC or the Office 2007 compatibility pack for Office 2003?
I suppose you do, but just for sure - when you go to Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages - do you have the option “Install files for complex script and left-to-right languages (including Thai)” selected?
I use the latest version of Avast 6.0.1091 free download from the home page
http://download636.avast.com/iavs5x/setup_av_free.exe
The unit is installed Microsoft Office 2003. I removed the free trial version and installed Avast Antivirut Pro (trial) but still be so. Some text into the box difficult to read
The free version is not a trial version!
Avast free is a full featured free Antivirus solution which you can use at no cost.
Check if you have the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack installed.
How about my question?

Sincerely thank you for your help!
(I’m not fluent English, so hard to read literature. Hope you understand! )
