Removing avast is not fixing anything at all.
That is like buying a new car if your current one stops working.
Sure the new one will work, but the old one still doesn’t.

Without knowing more details, we can’t (try) to help you.
e.g.

  • is there a particular shield that is causing the problem ?
  • are the sites all https ?
    etc.
