I would say users may be downloading from other mirrors, or even avast’s own servers? Cnet is not the only place it can be downloaded. :wink:

I think avast! free version is now being downloaded from avast’s servers mainly

I honestly don’t see a problem in not being in the top 20 downloads, when you consider this is out of ‘all’ the downloads made out of literally thousands of different applications, 21st isn’t so bad.

I don’t see a problem with that. Most people probably download from avast!'s main servers.

You were sent (redirected) to download.com from avast! sites when you wanted to download avast! Free.
Now, you’re not sent. The download begins from avast! servers.
That’s the reason, I think.

I believe that Cnet is one of the major players then it comes to download service. But I can be wrong.

Better go to the sours direct then you download a antivirus program. :slight_smile:
