Avast free scan question

So I ran a scan with Avast Free AV last night and got some rather confusing results. I’ve been running this for months and never had any issue on the scans until last night when it suddenly decided I was vulnerable to ransomware and recommended an upgrade in Windows 10, which I have been trying to do for months and the machine just won’t install an upgrade.

That notwithstanding, the scan said there were no issues with my router, then brought up a screen that said had a list of statements with an exclamation point in front of them and all were yellow except the first one which was red and stated my router was infected.

So now I have absolutely no idea if there is a problem with my router or not. Anyone else run into this and have some idea how to decide which statement is fact?

Start with checking your routers DNS settings.
Change them to the one from Google and run the scan again.
Does it still says “infected” ?

Change you WIFI password to a strong one.
Run the scan again and see if that is solving the weak password warning.

Visit the Windows update website and get/install all updates (especially the security ones).
