I recently fell for the “ammyy” scam where they called me and convinced me to download a program called “ammyy”. It has now come to my attention that it is a keylogger. Will the free version of avast! scanning detect this and able me to see the problem? I’ve done a scan and it didn’t find anything. Does that mean they failed? After the call I restarted my computer and it restored itself some how. I don’t really know. Any help would be appreciated.
