OK I got the lists of items that Avast calls junk, but I cannot just hit the button and let Avast delete things I need.
We should be able to select the items we consider should be deleted. This we cannot do, so the output of the Avast performance program is in effect itself junk and useless.
Are you using the free version of Cleanup ?
Unless you have the paid Avast Cleanup, as far as I’m aware you can’t individually select the items to remove. I have avast free and I don’t install the Cleanup component.
I use CCleaner by Piriform to get rid of junk, which is now a part of avast software. For me that gives adequate junk removal (along with other things), flexibility and its also free.
I do use the FREE version, but this performance matter is included in the Smart Scan, it is not optional. So the performance junk it finds is of no use since I cannot select the items I choose to delete.
