So today I noticed that the newest version of Avast was available (17.1.2286), but when I tried updating I kept getting “Unknown error.”
After a few attempts I tried repairing the Avast, but still got “Unkown error.”
I then uninstalled (restarted) and tried doing a fresh installation of Avast, but now it won’t even install onto my PC.
I keep getting errors during the setup.
Anyone else having problems or is something happening that I’m unaware of?
Any help is appreciated!
Win 10 (64bit)
I am (was) running Avast Free and Malwarebytes. Never had a problem before the update and trying to fresh install.
