Hi there,
Running Windows Vista Home Premium, and Windows Mail v. 6.0.6000.16386 Just let Avast Free update to Program version 7.0.1466 and the virus def. 120901-1 and all of a sudden I am getting “Your (either Pop3 or SMTP) Server has not responded in 90 seconds. Would you like to wait 90 seconds for the server to respond?” and waiting a few times does not work/nor did changing the timeout threshold. The error returned was Error Number 0x800ccc19 also get this error: Concurrent connection limit in Avast exceeded (Pass:0, Process. Winmail.exe[50]); port 25, Server (SSL);No, Server Error 421, with the following two error numbers: 0x800ccc67 & 0x800ccc90. when those errors are looked up - the issue has been observed before. I could not find the fix to these errors. Any help would be appreciated. I can log into the webmail version and the email is on the server. The problem is when the server is polled and it keeps timing out. please do not hesitate to ask if you need additional information.
Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately I set a password about two or three years ago and never wrote it down. I have had support techs try to uninstall my Avast and was not able to do so. They tried for three days and sent me to each escalation team in an effort to fix the problem. To no avail. Everything works fine except that I cannot make changes to the setup. That is until the update last night. Now as for trying to uninstall and then reinstall. I would love to try but without knowing my password (and I have tried everything that I can think of or ever used - now use a password manager but does not good for one created before I used the program). I have even tried a removal program such as Revo uninstaller and still ran into the same problem of not being able to uninstall.
With all of that said, what is it that is causing the error:
Account: ‘XTCnXs4U’, Server: ‘pop-server.roadrunner.com’, Protocol: POP3, Server Response: ‘-ERR concurrent connection limit in avast! exceeded(pass:0, processes:WinMail.exe[50])’, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90
Same with each email address that I have (I have 23 accounts). Are there any other suggestions?
I also get the error 0x800ccc90
The only way I can avoid this error, is to disable scanning of mails completely. (Both incoming and outgooing).
I’m not comfortable with that. So i need a solution to the problem.
I have tried to reinstall Avast - but it did not solve the problem.
