Avast Free Upgade V 5.1

Hi, No problem simply wondering when Avast Free upgrade 5.1 will be offered. VLK mentioned in earlier post that v.5.1 would be offered for download probably by the end of the month and version 6 soon then we think.Just wondering about v 5.1 8)

When it is ready is the simple answer.

Before that you should see a notification in the forums about a beta trial and when that concludes a notification of the final release version.

I would rather not hear of any set timeline than have Avast rush to completion. I like the fact that we are not given any set date. It prevents complaints of not hitting the time frame and prevents releasing a product before it is ready. I must say that I am getting anxious about it though.

you cant get fixed date cause in a software, there have many bug before releaseing and it take some times to be fixed so you can see notification at forum sticky area…and if you ever ask any question about this your answer will be When it is ready 8)

Help I uninstalled an older version and now I cannot install the new version. I get a box stating (protection module shield) seems to be blocking it. I removed all previous version understand?
