avast! Free V7.0.1466 - Windows 2000 - Application Error at startup

Hello!

Yesterday I installed avast! Free V7.0.1466 (with express install) from scratch on one of my Windows 2000-PC’s.
After reboot I made the VPS-Update (to 120827-0) with the vpsupd.exe-file because I was offline (I pulled the network-cable out of the PC).
Today I tested the new version (made a system scan with default settings) - there were no problems so far, so I shutdown the PC.
Then I re-pluged the network-cable and started the PC → and 2 “Application errors” appeared on startup at the desktop!
It sounds similar like http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=103545.msg829527#msg829527

I can find nothing in Event Viewer, but Dr. Watson made a log of the errors (see attachment).
By the way:

  1. In the meantime I made 3 cycles of startup and shutdown - but NO ADDITIONAL application error happened until now.
  2. VPS- and Stream-Updates are working fine.
Maybe your programmer team can find the reason for this behavior?

Thank you in advance!

Just for information:
Until now, I had NO ADDITIONAL application errors (neither at startup nor at shutdown).

Hello!

Yesterday I performed the procedure of my opening post (for double-checking purposes) again.
But this time: Offline-VPS-Update from 120821-0 to 120918-2.

Conclusion: same behavior again, but different file names of the 2 Application Errors.
You find 2 screenshots of the errors and the Dr. Watson-Testfile in the attachment.
Hope this helps the programmers.
