I just downloaded avast free antivirus, and when I tried to have it update it keeps saying it can’t connect to the server. I had a similar problem when I used comodo previously. Their forums directed me to a registry key [HKEY_USERS.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings], and there are three keys there that were the concern: ProxyServer, ProxyOverride, and the ProxyEnable key was set to 0x00000001 (1). No matter how many times I change this it just reverts back to this. The comodo forums were telling me this was preventing me from updating. Can someone tell me how I can fix this?
