Well it’s been telling me that I can’t update the latest version( the little red box pops up), and when I try to do it manually, it takes forever, and just seems to get stuck. Also, when I try to uninstall avast, to try and download the newest version, it tells me “Not enough user rights to continue”. I am 100% sure this is the admin account, and I can uninstall every single program except this one. I tried going into safe mode, and removing avast, which worked. After downloading the new version, I had the same problem; it wouldn’t update, or let me uninstall the program. I am currently running a full scan in avast and Malwarebyte’s. I also have Comodo, which hasn’t acted up so far. Please help me out. Maybe I need to manually update, and just wait a while? How long does it usually take to update it manually? All help is appreciated. Please note I am not very computer savvy, so please try to make answers as clear as possible 0.0. Thanks!
Have you registered?
I think you might need to first.
Yes, I’ve registered it. I’ve been using avast for a very long time
Uninstall comodo and reboot, then see if the update works…
Why would comodo have any impact on avast? I really wanna avoid doing this cause if it fails, my computer has no protection at all
Oh crap. The full scan didnt work, because my avast wouldnt pop back up after minimizing it. Now, I cant even open avast! Help?
There have been issues with Comodo blocking avast update
I really wanna avoid doing this cause if it fails, my computer has no protection at allthere is firewall in Windows and in most routers....
Alright, will try this. Could doing custom installation, and not installing the behavior shield work?
Hurrah! Uninstalled comodo, and it updated! Thanks alot guys

??? If your favourite firewall is Agnitum Outpost Free, and you also have AIS, do you switch AIS firewall off (which seems strange to me having paid for it) or do you run both together?
